NJ Department of Health to Provide Early Intervention Agencies One-Time American Rescue Plan Funds

We are very pleased to report that Early Intervention providers will be receiving additional funding to help offset the increased programmatic costs resulting from the high price of fuel throughout the state.   As EI is dependent on travel to family homes, increased travel cost is a potential barrier to providing equitable services to all children. NJDOH received an additional $686,000 in ARP funds to make this funding possible for which we thank the department for this welcome relief.  ABCD also thanks and congratulates EIPA Consultant, K. David Holmes, for his 2-month long advocacy with the department to secure ARP funds for this very purpose.
