Legislators Help Attain an Additional 2.5% for Early Intervention Rates

We were pleased that Governor Murphy understood the importance of bolstering Early Intervention when on May 6, 2021, Commissioner Pershicilli and the New Jersey Department of Health made an unprecedented move announcing that effective July 1, 2021, the Early Intervention provider rate would increase by 5%. Furthermore, the NJ Legislature appropriated funds in the FY’2022 Budget and through the efforts of Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt, and the Administration, the Department of Health will be moving forward with an additional 2.5% increase for a total of 7.5% for Early Intervention.
