Efforts to Enable People to Access Jobs and Programs and A Life in the Community

On June 9, 2021, the Senate Transportation Committee passed S3436 which requires certain transportation research to consider needs of individuals with physical, sensory, intellectual and developmental disabilities and S3442 which requires DOT and NJT to study and implement transportation mobility and accessibility improvements for persons with autism and developmental disabilities.  Special thanks to the bills’ sponsor and Committee Chairperson, Senator Patrick Diegnan for his efforts to enable people to access jobs and programs and a life in the community.
